1.Introduction

Dola AI (“the App”) is an AI-powered creativity application developed and operated by Appnovastudio (“we,” “us,” or “our”). The App lets you chat with specialized AI assistants, generate images with AI, and transform your photos into AI-generated videos.

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, where it is stored, and the choices you have. By using Dola AI, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2.Information We Collect & How We Use It

• Prompts and chat messages. The text you type when chatting with AI assistants or describing an image/video you want to create is processed to generate a response. Your chat history is stored locally on your device so your conversations can be restored.
• Photos you upload. When you use the AI Image Generator or AI Video Generator, the photo you select is processed to create your requested content. We only access photos you explicitly choose — we never scan your photo library.
• Generated content. Images and videos you create are saved to your in-app history. Generated videos are also stored temporarily on our video provider's servers so you can download them (see Section 6).
• Technical data. We may collect basic device information (such as device model, OS version, and crash data) to keep the App stable and fix problems.
• Location. We do not request or access your location.

3.Types of Data Collected

Personal Data. While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, Usage Data.

Usage Data. Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.

4.Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
• To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.
• For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items or services You have purchased or of any other contract with Us through the Service.
• To contact You: To contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application's push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.
• To provide You with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless You have opted not to receive such information.
• To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.
• For business transfers: We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Us about our Service users is among the assets transferred.
• For other purposes: We may use Your information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Service, products, services, marketing and your experience.

We may share Your personal information in the following situations:

• With Service Providers: We may share Your personal information with Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, to contact You.
• For business transfers: We may share or transfer Your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company.
• With Affiliates: We may share Your information with Our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include Our parent company and any other subsidiaries, joint venture partners or other companies that We control or that are under common control with Us.
• With business partners: We may share Your information with Our business partners to offer You certain products, services or promotions.
• With other users: when You share personal information or otherwise interact in the public areas with other users, such information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed outside.
• With Your consent: We may disclose Your personal information for any other purpose with Your consent.

5.AI Processing & Third-Party Services

Dola AI's generative features are powered by trusted third-party AI service providers. Before your photo or prompt is ever sent to one of these providers, the App shows you an in-app notice naming that specific provider and asks for your permission first. Depending on the feature you use, your data is sent to one of the following providers:

• Google Gemini (Google LLC) — Powers the AI Chat Assistant, AI Photo Editing, and AI Image Generation from templates. Your typed messages, any images you attach in a conversation, and the photos and prompts you use for image editing and image generation are sent to Gemini to generate your result.
• PixVerse AI (PixVerse) — Powers AI Video Generation. The photo you upload and your selected template or prompt are sent to PixVerse to generate your video. See Section 6 for how generated videos are stored.

The specific providers we work with may change from time to time as we improve the App; if that happens, this policy and the in-app notice will be updated to name the new provider before it is used. In all cases, these third-party processors handle your data via API agreements under strict privacy standards, your data is encrypted in transit, and your text prompts and uploaded photos are not used to train public AI models. We strongly recommend you do not include sensitive personal information in your prompts.

Advertising: Dola AI does not currently display third-party advertisements or share data with any advertising network. If this changes in the future, we will update this section to name the advertising provider(s) used, describe what data they collect, and obtain your permission as required.

6.Generated Videos & Temporary Server Storage

• How it works. Video generation takes several minutes to complete. When you request a video, our provider PixVerse AI assigns a unique, randomly generated video ID. Once your video is ready, the App uses this ID to retrieve it from PixVerse's servers and deliver it to you for download.
• Temporary storage. After generation, your video remains on PixVerse's servers for a short retention period so you can access and re-download it using its video ID. When this period ends, the video is automatically and permanently deleted. We do not keep your videos permanently.
• What is stored. Only the generated video file and its video ID, stored on PixVerse's servers. Videos are not linked to your name, email, or other personal identity information.
• Who can see it. Your videos are not published, listed publicly, or shared with other users. They are accessible only through their unique video ID.
• How it is used. Stored videos are used solely to deliver your video and provide the download feature. We do not use your videos for advertising or sell them to third parties.
• Early deletion. You may request deletion of your videos before the retention period ends by contacting us at the email address in Section 14.
• Tip: please save your generated video to your device — once it is deleted from PixVerse's servers, it cannot be recovered.

7.Credits & In-App Purchases

• All payments (subscriptions and credit purchases) are processed securely by Apple's In-App Purchase system. We never see or store your credit card or banking details.
• Your credit balance is stored locally on your device. Purchase records are managed through your Apple ID and can be restored using the “Restore Purchases” option.

8.Security Measures

• All data transmitted between the App, our servers, and our AI partners is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS).
• Videos stored on our servers are kept in secure cloud storage with access controls.
• We follow a data-minimization principle: we only collect and store what is necessary to operate the App's features.

9.Data Retention

• On your device: chat history, generated images, and your media history are stored locally. Deleting the App removes this local data.
• On our servers: generated videos are stored only temporarily, as described in Section 6, and are automatically deleted from our servers after the retention period ends.
• We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by applicable law.

10.Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Rectification of inaccurate data;
• Deletion of your data (including videos stored on our servers);
• Restriction of or objection to certain processing;
• Data portability; and
• Withdrawal of consent at any time.

11.Prohibited Content

• Do not upload photos containing another person's identifiable information without their consent.
• Do not upload or generate unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
• Do not upload copyrighted material you do not have the right to use.

12.Children's Privacy

Dola AI is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13.Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
